Architect scalable, high-performance enterprise data platforms that support both transactional and analytical workloads.

Design and maintain logical and physical data models across various cloud platforms (Azure Synapse, GCP BigQuery, AWS Redshift, Snowflake).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams — engineering, governance, and business — to align data strategies with organizational goals.

Lead the development of high-quality ETL / ELT pipelines and workflows.

Establish data governance practices that ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, POPIA).

Drive innovation in big data, analytics, and AI / ML initiatives.

Mentor data engineers and analysts, promoting best practices and architectural excellence.

What You Bring :

— Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

— 6+ years of experience in data architecture, modeling, and cloud data ecosystems

— Deep expertise in SQL, data lakes, data mesh, and modern data modeling techniques

— Hands-on knowledge of ETL / ELT optimization, data lineage, and metadata management

— Proven ability to align enterprise data architecture with business objectives

— Experience implementing data security measures — encryption, masking, access control

— Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills

Tech Toolbox Youll Use :

• Governance & Security: GDPR, POPIA, RBAC
• Other: Power BI, Tableau (bonus!)
