Placements24 is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Data Analyst Trainee program in Cape Town. This hybrid role offers hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R and Tableau, building a solid foundation in data interpretation, visualization, and reporting.

You will work with experienced analysts, contribute to data-driven insights, and develop skills through structured training, mentorship, and real-world projects in a collaborative office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, CS or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis methodologies.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools or willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team-player in hybrid setting.
• Residency in Cape Town or eligible to work in ZA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from diverse sources.
• Support senior analysts in generating reports and dashboards to visualize trends.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and anomalies.
• Learn and use SQL, Python, R, and Tableau for analysis.
