Office Arrangement:

• Fully remote.
• The candidate should be equipped for fully remote work with an uncapped fibre connection.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should have a diversified skillset with financial reporting, valuations, and pricing experience.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Financial reporting initiatives (including IFRS 17)
• Conducting detailed risk assessments and developing risk management strategies.
• Implementing risk models and evaluating their performance.
• Gathering data from various sources and ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
• Cleaning and preprocessing data for analysis.
• Product development & pricing
• Coding, data analysis and model development (including machine learning / AI applications)
• Preparing and reviewing actuarial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Industry analysis & research
• Preparing presentations and communicating complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Facilitating workshops and training sessions for clients or team members.
• Direct client engagements
• Planning, execution, and project delivery

Qualifications & Background:

• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Work experience: Minimum of 1 year work experience in the above-mentioned fields. Consulting experience would be advantageous.
• Technical skills: Proficient in actuarial software and data analysis tools; Proficient in coding (preferably Python); Candidates with deep technical experience in IFRS 17 would be preferred.
• Personal Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team; Willingness to think outside the box to solve complex problems; Highly organised and detail-oriented; Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
