Job Title : Performance Marketer(South Africa)

Location : Remote (Must be available to work US Business Hours)

Working Hours : Monday to Friday, from 8 : 30am to 6 : 00pm EST

Salary : $2500 - $5000, depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Performance Marketer to lead the planning, execution, optimization, and analysis of all paid media initiatives at Somewhere.com. This is a high-impact role requiring a strong blend of data-driven decision-making and creative experimentation to grow and scale paid acquisition efforts across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the end-to-end management of paid media campaigns across channels including search, social, newsletters, podcasts, influencer/partner ads, and other emerging platforms. Continuously identify new opportunities to optimize spend and performance across all channels.
  2. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on paid media performance. Track and analyze key metrics to evaluate the quality and quantity of leads generated per channel and provide strategic insights for improvement.
  3. Creative Collaboration & Funnel Ownership: Partner closely with the creative team to develop high-performing ad creatives and messaging. Take ownership of the full campaign funnel—from ideation and copywriting to channel strategy, targeting, landing page experience, and follow-up nurture campaigns.
  4. Work hand-in-hand with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals. Develop forecasts and ensure paid efforts are driving qualified leads, calls, and conversions to support company revenue targets.
  5. Budget Management & ROI Optimization: Collaborate directly with company leadership to manage paid media budgets. Make data-backed recommendations to optimize return on ad spend (ROAS) and improve net contribution margins.
  6. Availability & Responsiveness: Be available and responsive during core working hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 6:00pm EST, to support dynamic campaign needs and cross-functional collaboration.

What We're Looking For

  • Portfolio required - need to share some metrics and links for ads you have done. (no need for a full profile)
  • Proven experience in performance marketing with hands-on management of paid campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with performance tracking tools and dashboards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strategic mindset and execution-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with evolving priorities.
