Job summary

Uyandiswa Project Management Services is seeking a Data Analyst to turn raw data into actionable insight for clients across Financial Services, Energy, Manufacturing, and Consumer Goods. You will analyse datasets, build reports and dashboards, and support strategic decision-making within our BI & Analytics practice.

Responsibilities include collecting, cleaning & analysing data, designing reports, partnering with stakeholders to translate requirements into insights, and presenting findings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data-related field or equivalent
• 2-4 years of experience in data analysis
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
• Working knowledge of Excel for data manipulation and analysis
• Exposure to statistical analysis and basic data modelling techniques
• Experience in Financial Services, Energy, Manufacturing, or Consumer Goods is advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Design and build reports, dashboards, and visualisations to support client decision-making.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and translate them into insights.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting.
• Support the development of KPIs and performance metrics aligned to client business objectives.
• Present analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in a data analysis role.
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
• Working knowledge of Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• Exposure to statistical analysis and basic data modelling techniques.
• Experience within Financial Services, Energy, Manufacturing, or Consumer Goods sectors advantageous.
