Job description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyse and synthesise data from various business units to drive actionable insights and value.
• Develop financial models, ROI frameworks, and benefit realisation dashboards.
• Quantify the financial and strategic impact of data products, analytics solutions, and governance initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with business objectives.
• Create dashboards, integrated reports, and strategic presentations for executive stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of the organisation Data Value Management Strategy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science.
• 5+ years' experience in data analytics, business analysis, financial modelling essential.
• Strong experience in financial services, insurance, mining.
• 3 years+ experience i data monetisation, value management.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerBI, Python, or R.(Any)
• Working knowledge of Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, and Automation.
• Deep understanding of banking products, KPIs (NPV, cost-to-income ratio), and regulatory environments such as POPIA and Basel III.
• Proficiency with Pivot Tables and interpreting complex datasets for strategic decisions.
