A leading company in the financial services sector is seeking a Data Analyst with at least 4 years of experience. The role involves data collection and analysis, SQL scripting, and collaboration with various stakeholders to derive data-driven solutions. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, motivated problem-solvers with a strong background in data management and a relevant degree.
Key Responsibilities Collect, clean, and analyse data from internal systems (CRM, claims systems, sales platforms, finance, etc.)
Store and load collected data into a marketing database Load new data and perform data cleansing Define and implement database rules Manage leads and support lead flows into call centres Prepare data for marketing campaigns by writing SQL scripts aligned with selection criteria Automate lead flow processes Create dashboards, reports, and data models to support performance tracking and decision-making Support compliance and regulatory reporting (e.g., FAIS, TCF, POPIA) through data audits and extracts Collaborate with stakeholders (Sales, Finance, HR, IT) to convert business needs into data solutions Monitor data accuracy and help improve data capture processes Recommend data-driven strategies to improve efficiency, retention, and profitability Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with POPIA and internal data policies Experience and Skills Required Minimum of 4 years' experience in a data analysis role, preferably within the financial services or insurance sector Experience with short-term insurance, motor warranties, or vehicle service plans is beneficial Proficiency in writing SQL scripts and rules Experience with process automation Non-Technical Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Creative thinker with the ability to derive insights from data Detail-oriented and passionate about working with data Eagerness to learn, explore technical boundaries, and discover new solutions Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively Capable of working independently and within a team Maintains a positive and proactive attitude Qualifications B.Sc.
Bm in Information Systems or a relevant degree Intermediate knowledge and experience in MS SQL Experience with SSIS Background in call centre marketing is advantageous #J Ljbffr
