The Data Analyst plays a pivotal critical role in the development of a centralised Data Warehouse, from analysing the data requirements, translating them into actionable Data Warehouse queries and / or reports, to ensuring that the Data Warehouse always align with the Business Strategy.This role is responsible for analysing business requirements, data modelling an schema design, Dat Extract-Transform – Load, Data Queries – Reporting and Visualisation, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Data Security and Governance, and Collaboration with the Data Strategist and DevOps Engineer in the development and maintenance of the centralised Data Warehouse.Formal Education

Grade 12

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.

Preferred : Microsoft DevOps certifications, Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Sever Integration Services Certification.

Work Experience

Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in Data Analysis, Data Modelling, Data Extract – Transform – Load, Data quality assurance and Data cleansing, and Data Visualisation and Reporting.

Prove experience in Data Modelling.

Proven experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, and data visualisation

Proven experience in Data Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL).

Experience working with MS Power BI, MS SQL Server Integration Services, and MS Power Automate.

Familiarity with agile development environments.

Communicate Data insights to Business Owners.

Collaborate with the DevOps Engineer in the development and maintenance of the Data Warehouse.

Work closely with the DevOps Engineer in Monitoring the Database performance and make recommendations for improvements.
