We're looking for a technically-minded, collaborative, detail-oriented individual with a passion for problem-solving and a drive to succeed.

Responsibilities:

1. Unleash your data capturing skills by inputting vital information into NYSHEX's operational workflows.
2. Assist in solving difficult and complex workflow problems using Alteryx and similar tools.
3. Document the creation of workflows.
4. Investigate data entries and process outputs to uncover any deficiencies, errors, or unusual patterns.
5. Collaborate with the Team Manager to identify areas for improvement and streamline processes to reach maximum efficiency.
6. Provide top-notch support and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
7. Support the entire process while delivering exceptional client service.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

1. At least 2+ years of experience working in ocean containerized shipping.
2. Alteryx, Python, SQL experience would be an added advantage.
3. The ability to deliver under pressure and adapt quickly to changes.
4. Very high attention to detail and a thorough approach to work.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. A collaborative mindset and willingness to work with others to achieve shared goals.
7. Good organizational skills to support the team.
8. High proficiency with MS Office (including advanced Excel skills).
9. Familiarity with data analysis.
10. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
11. Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
12. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with team members and clients.
13. Based in the Western Cape region of South Africa.
