The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, processing, and analysing data to provide actionable insights that help drive business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner. The Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection & Management: Gather, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, ensuring its accuracy and reliability.
2. Data Analysis: Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of business data, identifying trends, patterns, and insights to inform business strategy and decision-making.
3. Reporting: Create and deliver regular reports and dashboards that present data insights in a clear and actionable format, tailored to different stakeholders within the organization.
4. Data Visualization: Develop visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to present data insights in an easily understandable way.
5. Business Insights: Work closely with business teams (marketing, finance, operations, etc.) to understand their needs and deliver relevant data-driven recommendations to improve business processes, efficiency, and performance.
6. Forecasting & Modeling: Develop predictive models and forecasting tools to support decision-making and future planning based on data trends.
7. Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports to track business goals and outcomes.
8. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest data analytics tools, technologies, and best practices, and propose improvements to current data processes and systems.

Key Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
2. 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role
3. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
4. Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, data cleaning, and data management
5. Experience with database systems and querying languages (e.g., SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
8. Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics
2. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis
3. Knowledge of big data technologies and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
4. Experience working in e-commerce, finance, or other data-driven industries
5. Advanced degree or certifications in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field
