ENVIRONMENT:

DRIVE the delivery of the team’s data products, focusing on retail and commercial energy sectors. We seek a cutting-edge Energy Specialist to join us as a Data & Analytics Manager. This role serves as the key interface between executives, Department Heads, Data Engineering & Visualisation teams, and Data owners across systems including Finance and IT. The ideal candidate will adopt an analytical, results-driven approach, simplifying complex concepts and confidently communicating with senior stakeholders. Requirements include 5-10 years of analytics experience in Consulting, Financial Services, Data Science, or Corporate Strategy, with experience managing small multidisciplinary project teams.

DUTIES:

1. Design bespoke analyses to answer strategic questions and create insightful dashboards and reports in collaboration with senior management and end users.
2. Build prototypes in Excel and other tools to demonstrate viability, test calculations, and guide engineering and visualization teams.
3. Manage data product creation projects from concept to delivery, collaborating with cross-functional contributors.
4. Work with end users to ensure successful adoption of data and analytics products.
5. Support initiatives to foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
6. Engage with Finance teams and Data owners to validate definitions and calculations and initiate data quality improvements as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-10 years of delivering analytics in a consulting, financial services, data science, or corporate strategy setting.
• Experience managing small multidisciplinary project teams.
• Energy industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
