Manager - Digital Risk & Information Security
We're looking for a strategic, hands-on leader to drive digital risk and security initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role blends people leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to turn complex challenges into practical, business-friendly solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

People & Leadership

1. Lead and develop a team of digital security professionals, focusing on growth, knowledge-sharing, and accountability.
2. Foster a security-conscious culture across the organization by building strong partnerships and upskilling non-technical teams.
3. Manage relationships with key external security providers to support internal capability building and delivery.

Strategic Advisory

1. Serve as a go-to advisor for senior business and IT leaders on matters of risk and information security.
2. Support the implementation of controls in areas such as access management, data protection, vendor due diligence, and awareness training.
3. Collaborate with threat monitoring teams to stay ahead of vulnerabilities and respond with agility.

Execution & Enablement

1. Translate long-term digital risk goals into action plans, ensuring alignment between security priorities and business needs.
2. Contribute to the enhancement of policies, standards, and procedures - ensuring they remain practical, current, and scalable.
3. Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies to stay resilient in an evolving landscape.

Project Oversight

1. Drive the execution of key initiatives on the digital risk roadmap, balancing resource constraints and strategic priorities.
2. Manage budgets and forecasts effectively, ensuring delivery stays on track and value-driven.
3. Provide clear communication, updates, and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

What You Bring

1. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
2. Sharp decision-making and strategic thinking - paired with a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset.
3. Strong communication skills; able to simplify complex topics for different audiences and influence decisions.
4. Business-savvy approach to risk, with an understanding of how to secure systems without creating barriers to progress.
5. Comfortable navigating change, ambiguity, and emerging risks with resilience and adaptability.

Experience Needed

1. At least 8 years' relevant experience in digital risk, information security, or governance.
2. Prior experience managing or leading a small-to-medium sized team in a complex business or technical environment.
3. Working knowledge of security operations, risk frameworks, and industry standards.
4. Confident in delivering presentations, guiding strategic discussions, and creating engaging reports.
5. Relevant certifications in digital risk or information security are a plus, but practical, real-world experience is highly valued.
