Placements24 is seeking a vigilant Cybersecurity Analyst to join a remote-first security operations team. You will monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to threats, strengthening our client’s defenses across networks, endpoints, and cloud services.

You will conduct vulnerability assessments, participate in pen testing, develop security policies, and provide awareness training while collaborating with IT colleagues to implement controls and safeguard critical information.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or SOC Analyst.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices (NIST/ISO 27001).
• Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar) and EDR solutions.
• Knowledge of networks, Windows/Linux OS, and common attack vectors.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH are desirable.

• Experience with security monitoring tools, including SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common attack vectors.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical information.
