Job summary

Reverside is seeking a Cyber Security Cloud Specialist to secure access, endpoints, cloud platforms and internet-facing services in a complex hybrid environment. You will work hands-on with Zero Trust, SASE, Microsoft Entra ID, EDR/XDR, Cloudflare, WAF, and DDoS protection to design, implement and optimize scalable security platforms.

This role requires broad cyber security engineering experience, collaboration across teams, and the ability to solve complex technical security challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring SSO, SCIM provisioning, Conditional Access and Microsoft Entra ID security controls.
• Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, routing, proxies, SSL/TLS).
• Experience working with AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production security issues, including log analysis and security event investigation.

We are seeking a Cyber Security Cloud Specialist to take responsibility focusing on securing access, endpoints, cloud platforms and internet-facing services across a complex hybrid environment. You'll work hands-on with modern security technologies across Zero Trust, SASE, Microsoft Entra ID, EDR/XDR solutions, Cloudflare, WAF, DDoS protection and secure proxy capabilities.

This role is ideal for someone with broad cyber security engineering experience who enjoys designing, implementing and optimizing scalable security platforms, collaborating across teams, and solving complex technical security challenges.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Experience in security engineering or a related technical role
  
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale security solutions
  
• Exposure to multi-region or global deployments within complex environment
  
• Experience working in hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud)
  
• Hands-on experience with cloud security, secure access, proxy, endpoint security or platform security technologies such as Cloudflare, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne or similar EDR/XDR solutions
  
• Practical experience implementing or supporting Zero Trust security models, SASE, secure access, endpoint protection, WAF, DDoS protection or VPN modernization initiatives
  
• Experience in integrating security platforms with Microsoft Entra ID, including SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SSO, Conditional Access and identity-driven access controls
  
• Exposure to cloud security platforms, identity-led architecture, endpoint detection and response, WAF, DDoS protection, data protection and secure traffic inspection
  

Requirements:

• Exposure to Cloudflare capabilities such as WAF, DDoS protection, DNS security, bot protection, Zero Trust access or secure edge services
  
• The ability to collaborate across teams and simplify complex technical concepts
  

Minimum Qualifications

• A Matriculation certificate
  
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems
  

Strong working knowledge of:

• Zero Trust security principles, SASE, identity-led architecture and secure access patterns
  
• SASE and secure access frameworks
  
• Authentication and authorization protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth)
  
• Enterprise networking and traffic flow concepts
  
• Cloud security platforms and tooling such as Cloudflare, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne or similar EDR/XDR and secure edge technologies
