Cyber Security Analyst (Vulnerability Management Focus)

Location: Remote (UK hours)

Department: Managed Services – Cyber Security

Reports to: Team Manager, Cyber Security Operations

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Day shifts: 7am–3:30pm, 9am–5:30pm, or 10:30am–7pm)

Why this role matters

We’re looking for a talented Cyber Security Specialist to join our Cyber Security Operations team – with a special focus on Vulnerability Management.

You’ll help protect our customers by spotting, assessing, and fixing security risks before they become problems. While you’ll also work on Cyber Incident Management, your main focus will be keeping vulnerabilities under control .

If you love solving puzzles, staying ahead of threats, and making the digital world safer , this role is for you.

What you’ll be doing

• ️ ️ Running regular vulnerability assessments & penetration tests
• Analysing & prioritising risks based on impact
• Creating and delivering remediation plans
• Collaborating with IT & development teams to resolve issues
• Reporting findings clearly to stakeholders
• Staying ahead of the latest cybersecurity trends & threats

What we’re looking for

Must-have experience

• Expert-level Tenable (Vulnerability Detection)
• Strong knowledge of CVSS, risk frameworks & remediation programmes
• Familiarity with Microsoft Security Suite (Azure, Intune, Defender)

Skills

• Hands-on experience in vulnerability & risk management / incident response
• Ticketing system know-how in a managed services setting
