Qualifications

• Bachelors or equivalent in IT/CS/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 1-3 years in information security or IT with a security focus.
• Foundational cybersecurity knowledge including network and endpoint security.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM) for events and threats.
• Analyze alerts and logs to identify suspicious activity.
• Investigate incidents, document findings and assist remediation.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and track remediation efforts.
• Support deployment and maintenance of security tools and policies.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure secure configurations and deployments.
