Job summary

VML South Africa, part of WPP, is seeking a curious CX Writer Intern to join our CX team in Johannesburg. If you love words, enjoy solving problems from a customer perspective, and are passionate about creating clear, human-centered content, this internship is for you.

You will write clear copy across websites, apps, emails, and other digital touchpoints; support content audits; and collaborate with UX Designers, CX Strategists, Researchers, Developers, and Creative teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and grammar.
• An interest in UX Writing, Content Design, and Customer Experience.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, concise, and engaging copy across digital customer experiences.
• Create content for websites, apps, emails, SMS, chatbots, and other digital touchpoints.
• Support the development of customer journeys by ensuring content is helpful, consistent, and easy to understand.
• Collaborate with UX Designers, CX Strategists, Researchers, Developers, and Creative teams.
• Assist with content audits and content mapping exercises.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand tone of voice and accessibility best practices.
• Contribute ideas during brainstorming and design thinking workshops.
