A civil engineering software provider in South Africa is looking for a Customer Support Consultant. The right candidate will have a Diploma in Civil Engineering, 3-10 years of experience in design, and proficiency in Civil Designer. Responsibilities include assisting clients with software, facilitating training, and maintaining client relationships. Travel required. Competitive compensation offered.
Qualifications.
National Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
Experience.
Three to ten years’ experience in the civil infrastructure design sector.
Three years' experience using Civil Designer. Civils3D experience advantageous.
Preferably experience in hydraulic/reticulation designs.
Proven proficiency in the use of software packages such as the MS Office platform and web-based CRM tools.
Job Profile / Skills.
Demonstrable excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to present technical software to potential clients, assist existing clients with software support and facilitate classroom training.
Online content creation (video) experience would be advantageous.
Ability to build and maintain a strong relationship with key clients to support the renewal of software licence agreements.
Understand and document, evolving industry design requirements to assist with future software developmental planning.
Code 8 driver’s licence with own transport.
Willing to travel away from home for at least one week a month.
