Position Overview

As a careworker at Care4U, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients. You will work closely with clients to assist with daily activities and ensure their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  2. Assist with mobility and transfers.
  3. Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
  4. Monitor and record vital signs.
  5. Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
  6. Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
  7. Keep accurate records of care provided.
  8. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  9. Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  10. Attend training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous caregiving experience preferred.
  • CNA or HHA certification is a plus.
  • Patient and compassionate nature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Physical stamina for duties such as lifting and transferring clients.
  • Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and evenings. On-call shifts may be required. Work environments include client homes, healthcare facilities, and community settings.
