As a Customer Service Representative , you'll be the face of Mukuru — assisting customers with their foreign exchange transactions in a friendly, professional, and compliant manner.
You'll process transactions accurately, verify documents, and help customers confidently complete their money transfers. This role is all about people — providing excellent service, spotting risks, and making sure every interaction reflects Mukuru's trusted brand.
Process foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
Ensure all customer documents are valid and legally compliant.
Detect and report any suspicious or fraudulent activity .
Manage your cash float and stock to ensure accurate balancing.
Stay up to date with foreign exchange systems (ICFX) and regulatory updates.
Maintain Mukuru's brand standards and deliver exceptional customer service.
Take ownership of your professional growth through ongoing training and assessments.
Grade 12 / Matric (Essential)
1+ year experience in Customer Service or Financial Services (Essential)
Foreign exchange experience (Desirable)
Completed or willing to complete Mukuru Forex Consultant Training Course
Knowledge of: Foreign currencies
FICA regulations
Exchange control regulations
ICFX system (advantageous)
Strong communication (verbal and written)
Excellent attention to detail
Good administrative and organizational skills
Confident telephone and computer skills
Ability to work accurately under pressure
