SEIDOR is currently looking for a Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management which includes presenting reporting and potential risk areas to senior management and establish and maintain internal controls to support the financial infrastructure.
Currently, this is envisaged for the 3 regions of Morocco, Tunisia, and Ethiopia.
The Financial Controller will need to oversee accounting, financial reporting, analysis, and preparation of the consolidated financial statements, including schedules for tax compliance, and ensure policies and procedures are in compliance with professional standards and legal regulatory requirements.
The role will involve managing improvement, transition, and compliance projects for the Africa Group.
Requirements:
- Matric / Senior Certificate
- Completed Tertiary Diploma / Degree with Accounting up to Level 3 and Tax up to Level 1 with a 60% + average
- French and English speaking (advantage)
- Understanding of Africa withholding tax and other taxes (advantage)
- Experience using an Accounting Package; SAP or Pastel (advantage)
- MS Excel experience

Responsibilities:
- Monthly Management Accounts and Reports – including monthly provisions, accruals, etc.
- Creditors Management and Processing.
- Cash book Management and processing in Bank and SAP / Pastel – including daily cash flow.
- Statutory returns and compliance.
- Oversee Debtors and customer invoicing, safeguard recurring invoicing and margins.
- Fixed asset maintenance.
- Awareness and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage, develop and lead employees in work team.
- Setting up and implementing new systems and process flows – for North Africa and for the whole of Africa Group.
- Annual Audits – liaison with auditors and completion by due dates.
- Assist the Group Finance Manager with various tasks – these include but are not limited to complete work for other regions when required – this can include management accounts, invoicing, send customer statement, cash book, etc.
- Africa Projects set up, tracking, and implementation all that is required to meet the deadline dates set for the group to ensure accurate and compliant reporting and project development.
