Summary of the Role
  1. Accountable for ensuring effective planning and delivery to customers and intercompany on time and safely, complying with trade and legal regulations.
  2. Responsible for customer service, including order management, dispatch, customer complaints, and related activities of finished goods, including stock replenishments and inventory management.
  3. Responsible for logistics arrangements and handling.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
  1. Process customer orders for the region and export, serving as the focal point for order management.
  2. Interface and facilitate communication between SCM, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Sales, and Customers.
  3. Monitor the Open Order report and communicate with Warehouse and Production regarding delivery schedules.
  4. Ensure commercial documents are issued in a timely manner.
  5. Handle logistics chain activities such as booking transportation, dispatching finished goods, and raising invoices.
  6. Monitor orders against forecasts and report variances to relevant teams.
  7. Perform month-end tasks to ensure timely submission to finance.
  8. Coordinate with clearing agents, warehouse, and production on the receipt of import shipments.
  9. Respond to customer queries and serve as the point of contact for handling customer grievances.
  10. Work with Finance to process Credit and Debit Notes as per Global Policy.
  11. Develop and implement new processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Customer Service function.
  12. Create avenues for cost control with a focus on process reengineering.
Requirements (Education, Experience, and Competencies)
  1. Bachelor's or higher degree in supply chain, logistics, or business administration.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in customer service, sales coordination, logistics, or supply chain roles.
  3. Knowledge of contracts, demurrage, delivery charges, Incoterms, letters of credit, and other trading methods.
  4. Previous experience with SAP systems and MS Office.
