Job description

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

  • Manage all domestic & cross-border customer enquiries, including inbound calls, emails, and other correspondence, in accordance with departmental guidelines to improve and maintain On Time In Full (OTIF) and Customer Service Index (CSI).
  • Ensure attention to detail when processing domestic & cross-border customer orders and enquiries to minimize errors and escalate when necessary.
  • Follow up with domestic customers on quote conversions.
  • Assist with technical inbound queries and provide effective resolutions by supplying accurate information.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, internal, and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Attend all internal meetings as required.
  • Liaise with team members and collaborate to meet departmental targets.
  • Contribute to implementing departmental strategies set by the Departmental Manager.
  • Provide valuable input and ideas into departmental initiatives and promote these initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management or the board.

This role requires a matric qualification, with additional qualifications in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or Customer Service being advantageous. Experience with SAP, along with excellent planning and organizational skills, is essential to manage workload effectively.
