Job summary

Takealot Group in Cape Town is seeking a Customer Service Assistant: Personal Shopper to support our shoppers with timely, accurate service. You will handle inquiries via phone, email and chat, and help resolve product or service problems with clear communication.

Ideal candidates have Matric/Grade 12 and at least 6 months of customer service experience. A proactive mindset and ability to work with internal teams are essential to deliver a premier online shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 (or equivalent) is required.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience is required.
• Experience in retail/e-commerce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, accurate and professional customer service.
• Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint and determining the best solution.
• Explain and implement the solution, expediting correction or adjustment and following up to ensure resolution.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email and chat; utilise software tools to navigate customer accounts.
