Able to apply sales and marketing techniques relevant to work area
Able to deal effectively with customers within given parameters
Able to apply basic Health and Safety procedures relevant to own work functions under direct supervision
Able to identify hazards and handle with direct instructions/guidance in place
Responsibilities:
Identify statistics required to assist in managing the branch
Develop methods of being able to extract statistics information
Constantly maintain available statistics
Analyse all monthly reports
Encourage professionalism at all levels
Liaise with customers to execute services of collection, delivery, query or quote
Receive collection requests telephonically
Receive, action and resolve queries within 45 minutes and close off the collection
Advise the Sales department of none/reduced usage by regular customers
Liaise with operations to ensure customers' requests are carried out
Ensure details on a collection request are accurate
Generate sales leads on calls received
Ensure constant awareness of any operational difficulties and advise customers accordingly
Participate in weekly meetings as scheduled by the department
Liaise with Managers regarding accounts on credit hold
Manage and resolve all subcontractor and agent queries
Ensure all daily report inputs have been actioned
Ensure all billing paperwork is reconciled and handed to operations
Hand all unaccepted quotes to Sales to be followed through
Ensure accurate record keeping
Maintain professional conduct
Assist in relevant operations/operational functions as required
Receive quote requests via email and telephonically; action and close off within 45 minutes
Receive all claim-related queries, compile claim pack with information received from operations, and hand over the claim pack to the Administration Manager
