Job Purpose

The Customer Service Agent is responsible for handling customer contact via multiple channels, including written, electronic, and verbal communications, in a professional and effective manner. They will process checks on customer personal information, ensuring compliance with regulations and legislation. The role involves processing data and providing fair and appropriate treatment of customers to ensure enquiries are dealt with accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage with customers via phone, email, and live chat.
  2. Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions.
  3. Process payments, agree on payment plans, and assist with queries.
  4. Deliver a positive customer experience with professionalism and care.
  5. Support and coaching will be provided to help you develop and reach your full potential.
  6. Office-based for the initial 6 weeks training period, then fully remote.
  7. Enjoy 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

Training and Development

The successful candidate will undertake a full company induction and in-house training, working towards achieving their SCQF Level 6 in Business and Administration, awarded by both SQA and MA online.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organisational skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive, self-motivated attitude.
  • Ability to recognise vulnerability and act appropriately in line with the Company’s Vulnerability policy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and customer databases.
