Job description

Meridian Wine Distribution, a trusted leader in the liquor industry, is seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Agent to join their dynamic team. This position is based in Brackenfell, Cape Townand is for a well-known wine company renowned for delivering premium products and exceptional service.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Daily Order Check
  • Ensure telephones are manned effectively and calls are answered with correct telephone etiquette.
  • Attend to all customer queries relating to orders
  • Constantly monitor open sales orders and action as required
  • Convert sales quote to sales orders as required
  • Initiate query with finance for on hold accounts that have placed orders.

Requirements and Experience:

  • Grade 12 Essential
  • Minimum 1 Year Call Centre Experience
  • PC Proficient (MS office suite: word, excel, presentation / Google office suit and email)
  • Communication skills – written & verbal
  • Customer relationship skills
  • Problem solving abilities
