This exciting opportunity is aimed at individuals who are outgoing, hardworking and are all-around great communicators who care passionately about the experience that our customers receive.

You will be joining an exceptional Customer Care Team within Boomerang for one of our offshore client campaigns, talking to our customers on a daily basis to resolve all customer queries. All incoming customer contact will go through you, making use of phone, live chat, and emails. You will be empowered to help shape our customer journey and come up with new ways to make people’s lives easier and happier.

What The Day-today Looks Like In This Role

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for new and existing customers, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.
  • Using communication tools including phone, email, WhatsApp and live chat to keep customers informed and supported with their healthcare-related queries.
  • Dealing with a wide range of queries, issues and feedback from our current and potential customer base in the healthcare space.
  • Bringing happy moments to the people we serve ensuring a compassionate and supportive experience.

Requirements

  • Clear criminal record (essential)
  • Matric or equivalent (NQF4) (essential)
  • English proficiency (essential)
  • Neutral accent for clear and effective communication
  • Customer service experience (essential)
  • Passion for healthcare (advantageous)
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience on live web chat, email and voice experience

This role is for 40-45 hours per week, Monday - Sunday on a rolling rota basis including regular weekend days and bank holidays. We currently operate on a shift rotation basis. Shifts may be scheduled within the range of 8am to 8pm (subject to change).

We need to be accessible to our customers at all times. This means that for the majority of this role you will be confident and have a passion for helping them on all communication channels used.
