Job Description

The ideal team player will represent and sell the organisation's products and services to customers by visiting clients, obtaining orders, and ensuring growth in market share.

Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Computer literate
  • 5 - 10 years’ experience in a similar capacity
  • Proficiency in English and Afrikaans
  • Clear Criminal Record
  • Traceable references in similar roles
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and resolve queries and complaints
  • Disseminate marketing materials, advertisements, and business notices regularly
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with internal and external customers
  • Lead sales teams to reach sales targets
  • Oversee local and regional sales, promotions, and campaigns
  • Handle key accounts like Shoprite, Spar, etc.
  • Plan and direct the hiring and training of new and current sales staff
  • Manage customer relationships with wholesale and other clients
  • Coordinate all sales activities locally and regionally
  • Prepare sales budgets and projections; approve expenditures
  • Track and analyze sales statistics based on key metrics
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding products or services
  • Implement sales mandates in specific regions or price groups
  • Advise distributors and dealers on policies and SOPs
  • Set and achieve sales targets effectively
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage the sales process and forecast sales
  • Identify trends and sales patterns through strong analytical skills
  • Design and implement successful sales strategies
  • Guide and mentor sales representatives
