The Building Company in Cape Town is seeking a reliable cashier to provide friendly service at the point of sale, process transactions accurately, issue receipts and balance the till at close. You will help minimise risk and maximise selling opportunities while upholding the company standards.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English, willing to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays, with basic computer skills and a customer‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Proficient in English.
• Able to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays.
• Be helpful and polite.
• Building material product knowledge is advantageous.
• 2–3 years cashier experience is advantageous.
• Basic computer skills required.
