Customer Experience System Specialist (CESS-24) - Sandton, South Africa

Job Purpose: The overall purpose of the Customer Experience Systems Specialist is to provide exceptional support by managing and resolving financial transactions and inquiries within the SAP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Transactions: Manage and resolve financial transactions within the SAP system, including rebates, pricing adjustments, and account updates.
  2. Customer Support: Provide effective and timely resolution of financial inquiries and concerns, collaborating with customer service, operations, and internal colleagues.
  3. Account Management: Maintain accurate customer account information, ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.
  4. Data Management: Use SAP to manage data efficiently, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  5. Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations monthly and quarterly, and support finance with processing month-end and ad-hoc financial journals.
  6. Compliance: Ensure the monthly SOX control checklist is completed and assist during audits.
  7. Master Data Management: Update customer accounts with master data and coordinate changes with relevant teams.
  8. Credit Management: Assist in managing customer credit limits, perform credit checks, and support AR with payment allocations.
  9. Payment Processing: Facilitate inward and outward payments, including monthly payments to affiliates.
  10. Rebate Management: Load Vistex agreements, perform calculation runs, release rebates in SAP, and administer rebate accruals.
  11. Customer Support & Documentation: Provide supporting documents, invoices, and credit references; ensure proper documentation for compliance.
  12. Collaboration & Communication: Work with customer service, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure smooth operations and communication.
