Job Title: Customer Education & Learning Designer - SaaS/Supply Chain
Position details : Full-time, exempt, remote position in South Africa
Reports to : VP, Global Operations
About the Role
We seek a creative and tech-savvy Customer Education & Learning Designer to design and deliver engaging, AI-enhanced training content for our supply chain software users. This role is ideal for a learning professional passionate about customer experience, who enjoys simplifying complex ideas, and thrives in a digital-first environment.
You’ll work closely with product experts, SMEs, and customer-facing teams to create scalable, self-serve content that empowers our users to get value fast—and keep growing.
Design for Enablement
Translate product features, workflows, and planning principles into engaging learning experiences.
Map and build scalable customer onboarding and upskilling journeys.
Content Creation
Develop interactive eLearning, videos, walkthroughs, and AI-enhanced training using tools like Articulate.
Write scripts, storyboards, and step-by-step instructions tailored to different user personas.
Experiment with and implement AI tools to streamline course creation, personalize learning paths, and enhance content delivery.
Help evolve our training strategy by combining human insight and AI-driven methods.
Work cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Sales & Marketing to identify and address customer pain points through education.
Measure training effectiveness and continuously improve based on usage data and feedback.
3+ years in L&D, instructional design, customer enablement, or content creation—ideally in SaaS or a B2B tech company.
Confidence working with AI tools, learning tech, and visual storytelling platforms.
Excellent communication skills and a knack for simplifying the complex.
A customer-first mindset and the ability to see content through the user’s eyes.
Attention to detail, open to receiving feedback, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Highly competent with essential remote work technologies like Slack, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Zoom.
Experience in supply chain, ERP, or planning tools (helpful but not required).
Familiarity with LMS platforms and user analytics.
Exposure to UX principles or product-led growth environments.
Play a key role in shaping how our customers learn and succeed.
