Location: Remote (Preferably based in South Africa or the Philippines)

Schedule: Sun, Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri — 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Compensation: $700 USD/month

About The Role

We are looking for a reliable and driven Customer and Sales Specialist to join our growing remote team. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers—answering inquiries, converting leads into rentals, and delivering exceptional service.

This role requires excellent communication, sales skills, and a proactive mindset. You must also have a dedicated home office and a quiet, professional workspace, as the position involves consistent phone-based interactions.

Note: While candidates from all regions are welcome, preference will be given to those based in South Africa or the Philippines, due to time zone alignment and strong communication capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service via phone and email
  • Assist customers in selecting the right storage unit and finalizing rentals
  • Convert inbound inquiries into successful bookings
  • Make outbound calls to follow up on late payments
  • Quickly resolve tenant concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of all interactions
  • Collaborate with internal team to improve tenant satisfaction and efficiency

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years of customer service experience (phone-based strongly preferred)
  • Excellent English communication (spoken and written) with minimal to no accent
  • Confident and professional phone demeanor
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using modern software tools
  • Dedicated home office with reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales or collections background
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and customer service software
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently
  • Previous experience in real estate, storage, or service-based environments
