Placements24 is seeking a Curriculum Developer with a Master’s in a STEM education field to design engaging STEM curricula for diverse learners. The role allows remote work while anchoring on a Randburg, Gauteng base, focusing on scalable content for online and blended environments.

The successful candidate will lead design, development, and evaluation of modules, align with standards, and collaborate with educators and technologists to drive innovation in STEM learning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM, Education, Curriculum Development or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in STEM curriculum development
• Experience designing learning materials for K-12 and/or higher education
• Strong instructional design knowledge and learning theories
• Proficiency with LMS and authoring tools

Requirements

• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and learning theories.
• Proficiency with educational technology tools and platforms (LMS, authoring tools).
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.

• Project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with South African curriculum frameworks is a plus.
