A leading retail company is seeking candidates for a customer service position in Hoedspruit, South Africa. Responsibilities include assisting customers, managing stock, processing sales, and maintaining shop organization. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication and sales skills, and should be capable of handling physical tasks. A live-out or live-in position is available.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer Assistance :
Assisting customers in finding items, answering questions about products, and providing helpful and friendly service.
Stock Management :
Ensuring shelves are properly stocked, maintaining inventory, and replenishing items as needed.
Sales and Transactions :
Processing sales, handling cash and credit card payments, and managing returns and exchanges.
Shop Maintenance :
Keeping the shop clean and organized, arranging displays, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Product Knowledge :
Familiarizing themselves with the shop's inventory and being able to discuss the unique qualities of each item.
Customer Service : Excellent communication, patience, and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints.
Sales Skills : Ability to present products effectively, close sales, and upsell.
Organizational Skills : Ability to maintain stock levels, arrange displays, and keep the shop tidy.
Basic Math : For calculating prices, making change, and managing transactions.
Physical Skills : Depending on the shop's inventory, the ability to lift and move items of various sizes and weights may be required
Live out position, candidate ideally residing in Hoedspruit. Could be Live in also.
