Job description

The Culture, Influencer & Advocacy team is responsible for fostering brand thought leadership and enhancing brand reputation through a comprehensive culture strategy. This includes defining cultural platforms, developing strategies for execution, and establishing detailed in-culture plans for all strategic brands.

The team also identifies, negotiates, and executes strategic in-culture partnerships with platforms and influencers across the region.

Key Accountabilities :

This role requires a deep understanding of current cultural trends, experiential and sponsorship marketing models, and brand partnership capabilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders are essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building a holistic SWC culture strategy with specific plans for all strategic brands, including cultural platforms, calendars, experiential campaigns, and sponsorship models.
  • Growing brand MDS scores through authentic experiential marketing and brand partnerships that establish in-culture thought leadership.
  • Developing, negotiating, and executing in-culture growth experiences, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Creating compelling content tailored to engage internal and external audiences, coordinating distribution across various channels, and monitoring content performance.
  • Driving brand visibility and engagement by ensuring active participation in consumer conversations through captivating stories and content.
  • Understanding local cultures, conversations, and tensions to ensure authentic brand integration through storytelling and campaigns.
  • Leading efforts to embed an editorial mindset within the business, leveraging culturally relevant moments to enhance brand relevance.
  • Managing external partnerships with influencers, industry organizations, and community groups, including co-branded initiatives and evaluating partnership ROI.
  • Establishing KPIs and metrics to measure the success of culture and influencer marketing initiatives, utilizing analytics tools for performance tracking and reporting.
  • Developing and managing budgets for experiential, sponsorship, and partnership activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the marketing team, fostering a collaborative culture, and identifying training opportunities.
  • Managing events, sponsorships, and stakeholder engagement to ensure excellent execution across the brand portfolio.

This role involves a minimum of 70% external stakeholder engagement, including weekends.

Minimum Requirements :
  • Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in IPS, FMCG, or luxury goods sectors.
  • Experience with consumer conversations, leading marketing teams, and driving business change.
  • Passion for innovative marketing approaches, influence & advocacy, and executing PR, social, and content strategies.
