Employer Description
This is an industrial engineering company that supplies process equipment and machines.
Duties & Responsibilities
Create a business development roadmap with identified relevant potential customers and promotion.
Budgeting and forecasting market order intake with a roadmap plan in support of the same.
Create a strong business relationship with customers based on trust and professionalism through frequent visits, understanding customer pains, and business follow-up.
Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
Stay current on competition and market offerings.
Ensure regular reporting with the direct manager.
Update the CRM (Salesforce) app daily, along with other initiatives as required.
Prepare costing for full turnkey bids.
Build technical and commercial offers.
Carry out audits; prepare reports and follow up on offers.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Qualifications
Matric.
Tertiary qualification (at least N.Dip.) in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering fields.
Technical or Project Management qualifications are beneficial.
Skills
Five years' customer-facing experience.
Proven customer relations skills.
Understanding of project site work processes for building project proposals.
Ability to estimate well when supply prices or scopes are not always clear.
Ability to apply technical knowledge as part of client solutions.
