Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Cloud Architect (LCA) with Artificial Intelligence experience who will be responsible for designing, building, and managing best-in-class solutions for our CSS customers:

1. Establish trusted relationships with customers
2. Be familiar with Oracle Cloud and AI products and solutions
3. Assess and analyze customer needs to capture business and industry requirements; translate them into technical architectures aligned with Oracle’s best practices
4. Lead CSS’s highly experienced delivery teams by providing technical governance and guidance
5. Build relationships with team members, other Oracle teams, and the customers at different levels of the reporting line up to CIO or equivalent business owner
6. Be the main contact for new business opportunities by supporting our CSS Services Solutioning team. Assist with scope and LOE definition and technical guidance
7. Drive innovation by incubating new practices and solutions, including a structured approach to how to adapt them
8. Maintain market awareness around existing and emerging technologies
9. Apply industry and Oracle best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen
10. Ensure that customers achieve beneficial solutions regarding cost-effectiveness, quality, and manageability
11. Provide technical guidance on Oracle cloud and AI solutions to customers and Oracle internal teams
12. Ensure successful handover from implementation to operations, making sure the implemented solution meets customer requirements
13. Maintain the Oracle Solution to ensure customer demands are met
14. Drive your development in Oracle cloud and AI technologies
15. Work closely with different CSS teams to ensure successful implementation and operation of mission-critical environments

Skills and Qualifications

1. Minimum five years of experience as a senior architect delivering cloud and AI solutions
2. Applicants must read, write, and speak fluent English
3. Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the customer organization
4. Keen to learn new cloud and AI technologies

Preferred Technical Skills

1. Good knowledge of Oracle’s cloud solutions (OCI, IaaS, PaaS, Networks)
2. Strong knowledge of AI technologies, including Application AI features, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and common AI use cases, AI services & technologies (Digital Assistant, NLP, Speech, Anomaly Detection), Generative AI including Cohere, Data Science, AI infrastructure (GPU, RDMA, Nvidia software)
3. Knowledge of Applications/SaaS, Databases, Middleware/PaaS services
4. Technical knowledge of relevant open-source cloud technologies
5. Strong understanding of cloud security
6. Knowledge of cloud-native design solutions
7. Strong automation processes and technology experience (DevOps, GitOps)
