Key Performance Areas
Programme Management and Design
- Plan and implement application and assessment cycle.
- Lead and manage teams effectively.
- Support and guide beneficiary parents.
- Coordinate Gems Leadership camps, parent workshops, and additional support activities.
- Oversee academic and psychosocial support planning and implementation.
- Research and implement tiered programmatic approaches.
- Develop marketing materials to promote the program internally and externally.
- Manage SLAs and MOUs with external partners and stakeholders.
- Draft RFPs for partnerships in line with procurement policies.
- Identify and mitigate program risks, ensuring data management and compliance with POPIA (especially for minors) and FICA.
Finance and Admin
- Manage program budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
- Ensure accurate reporting of expenditures.
- Manage service provider costs and liaise with the team on queries and invoices.
- Maintain and update the database, collaborating with other departments as needed.
- Oversee budgetary requirements for GEMS, including BBB-EE and SED spend.
- Support various CSI initiatives like Gsquared, career days, etc.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Oversee M&E processes, stakeholder engagement, research, and reporting.
- Identify trends to innovate support offerings.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, including service providers, students, parents, and staff.
- Develop communication plans and conduct regular engagement activities.
Reporting
- Prepare reports for SET, GEMS Advisory Committee, Board, SA operational, and others.
- Provide insights for the Annual Integrated Report and assessments related to SDGs and ESG.
Staff Management
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate team members.
- Ensure program adherence to ESG policies and goals, incorporating ESG into planning and reporting.
Experience & Education
- Minimum 5 years in CSI/CSR/education/youth development, with at least 2 years in management.
- Degree in Social Science or relevant field; certifications like MSP, PMP, or PGDIP preferred.
