Job description

Our client, a plant equipment manufacturer in Honeydew, is looking to employ a CS Sales Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Customer understanding: Identifies and understands customer needs.
  2. Segment specific development of customers: Observes market trends in own cluster (e.g., competitive landscape, customer landscape).
  3. Relationship management: Together with the team, manages customer relationships with a focus on CS topics.
  4. Sales responsibility: Responsible for sales in the non-food business in chain conveyor and components.
  5. Sales and quotation support: Initiates the quotation process for CS offerings and generates sales leads for equipment/plant business. Supports the ASM in specific business areas.
  6. CRM: Utilizes and manages dedicated data sets. Develops CS business in the BU to reach the budget.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
  1. Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
  2. External experience as a former plant, maintenance, or operations manager.
  3. Basic mechanical/industrial engineering education.
  4. Fundamentals of business administration and marketing.
  5. Tools: MS Office and internal software such as Intranet (B-World), SAP Quotation, CRM, etc.
Business & Technical Knowledge
  1. Business knowledge: Understanding of major value drivers of customer P&L and ability to explain the impact of the company's services (ROI).
  2. Technical knowledge: Sufficient technical background to understand client processes, including machines and overall transformation and operations processes (depends on market). Knowledge of sales and service in process engineering operations and familiarity with the mining/energy sector.
