Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a skilled Cross‑Platform Mobile App Developer to design, develop, test and maintain mobile apps. You will build Android apps using Ionic, Vue.js, TypeScript and Capacitor, and connect to RESTful APIs in an Agile setting.

The role requires 3+ years of mobile development experience, strong TypeScript skills, and a solid grasp of HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript, plus API integration and security considerations. On-site in Gauteng, South Africa.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' software development experience with mobile apps.
• Proven experience developing cross‑platform mobile apps using Ionic and Vue.js.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience using Capacitor to build Android apps.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third‑party services.
• Knowledge of backend development, API design, authentication, data validation, and error handling.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Android Studio, Android SDK configuration, permissions, signing certificates, and release builds.
• Experience with Git or similar source control.
• Knowledge of mobile app security and secure API communication.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
