Recruitment Dynamix (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Production Manager to lead a farming operation in Vrystaat, South Africa. The role requires ownership, practical management, and collaboration with the management team to drive sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate will oversee maize, wheat and vegetable farming, coordinating multiple production divisions and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, staff performance, and maintenance of infrastructure and equipment.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong practical knowledge of vegetable farming.
• Experience in crop production.
• Knowledge of wheat, maize, onions, beetroot, carrots, and potatoes.
• Good staff management and leadership abilities.
• Mechanical knowledge and practical problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Overall management and coordination of daily farming activities.
• Plan, implement and monitor production across various enterprises.
• Management of wheat, maize, beetroot, carrot, onion, and potato production.
• Managing staff performance, discipline, and productivity.
• Overseeing the maintenance of infrastructure, equipment, vehicles, and mechanisation.
