Risk and Security Manager (Gauteng Logistics)

Job Description:

Req#: , a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Risk and Security Manager to join our (TDT) Logistics Team in Gauteng. We are a young, dynamic, hyper growth company looking for smart, creative, hard-working people with integrity to join us.

This position reports to the National Risk and Security Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Management of Risk within Transport, Logistics and Fleet management
2. Management of Security and Service Providers
3. Plan, design and implement the risk management tactics
4. Regularly audit all operational processes from a risk perspective
5. Daily risk assessments and evaluations
6. Risk auditing and reporting
7. Weekly security audit and reporting
8. Business continuity plan
9. Loss control, exception management and investigations across all regional sites
10. Develop a network of intelligence sources to identify high loss areas and develop corrective actions
11. On-route risk management
12. Dashcam management and affiliated service providers
13. Management of the complete Health and Safety function for the site as required and stipulated by law and COVID protocols
14. Innovate and proactively anticipate Risk within Transport, Logistics and Fleet management
15. Regularly engage with operational managers

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Risk Management Qualification
2. Minimum 5 - 7 years in Middle Management Risk Management in a Logistics or Transport environment
3. Forensic qualification & experience preferable
4. Exposure to H&S management
