Job summary

iContact BPO in Randburg is seeking a RE5 Customer Support Credit Life Representative to provide professional, customer-focused support within an insurance contact centre. You will assist customers with Credit Life Insurance enquiries, submissions and follow-ups while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information, with experience in credit life insurance desirable.

Qualifications

• RE5 qualification is essential.
• Proven experience in customer service or contact centre.
• Insurance call centre experience is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of Credit Life Insurance features, benefits and exclusions.
• Experience handling claims-related queries or submissions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate via telephone and email.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work within defined processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions via telephone and email professionally.
• Provide accurate information on Credit Life Insurance policies.
• Manage and respond to claims-related enquiries promptly.
• Assist customers with submission of Credit Life Insurance claims.
• Provide claims status updates and follow-ups.
• Record and document customer interactions accurately.
• Apply company policies and regulatory requirements consistently.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of policy information.
• Identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions or escalate.
• Ensure compliance with South African regulatory requirements and internal processes.
