Job summary

Experian is seeking a data analytics professional to join the Data Insights and Attributes team in Johannesburg. The Analyst will deliver insights from client, credit bureau, and alternative data sources, supporting priority projects and custom analytics solutions.

You'll apply Python, SQL, SAS, and GitHub, build reports and dashboards in Power BI, and contribute to data quality, attribute development, and monitoring. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the credit industry and credit lifecycle.
• Experience in building reports and dashboards (e.g. Power BI).
• Experience in data analysis, data quality management, and attribute development.
• Understanding of attribute monitoring and performance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Execute and deliver data analytics projects aligned with business objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance bureau and bespoke client attributes.
• Extract, transform, validate, and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Deliver custom analytical solutions for both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Analyse benchmark reports and monitoring packs to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
