Credit Data Analyst

Client is looking for an experienced Credit Data Analyst who:

• Has strong data analytics capabilities
• Pays attention to detail
• Delivers work of a high quality
• Can process, manipulate, and transform large volumes of data (1 million+)
• Performs extensive analysis on data and produces summary results in a visual format to tell a story using data

The successful individual needs to be a team player who works alongside others to identify and contribute to initiatives leading to company success.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and manage the performance across multiple credit products
• Evaluate and improve business decisions, substantiated by data-driven analyses
• Create credit strategies
• Run and improve forecasting simulations
• Report back to management on the credit risk status of the business

Requirements

Qualification: Mathematical / statistical background e.g., B.Sc. in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or B.Engineering

Experience: 5+ years in data analysis / modeling (not only using Excel but also other tools including SQL / SAS). Must be able to work with millions of rows.

Additional skills include strategic thinking, data analysis, creative problem-solving, and the ability to transform raw data into an easy-to-understand story. Effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and executives is essential. The candidate should be self-driven, motivated, and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities. Flexibility for local and international travel may be required.
