Job Responsibilities
  1. Cash Flow and Debt Management: Enhance the company's cash flow and minimize bad debt risks.
  2. Credit Control: Manage the end-to-end credit control process, including proactively managing and collecting debts from debtors to ensure timely payments.
  3. Debt Monitoring: Maintain outstanding debts within agreed targets and manage monthly claims and analysis, resolving issues with internal and external customers.
  4. Claims Management: Oversee control and processing of all claims, including transport claims, sales, and stock-related claims like returns and damages, ensuring timely processing.
  5. Master Data Management: Ensure debtor data accuracy and compliance with SOP, handling debtor information securely in line with the POPI act.
  6. Customer Relationships: Maintain good relationships internally and externally, ensuring credit limits are not exceeded.
  7. Bookkeeping and Reporting: Ensure accurate account clearing, timely statements, and prepare 30, 60, 90-day reports with action plans. Manage POD control reports, price discrepancies, cash inflow, and settlement discounts.
  8. Risk Management: Advise superiors on potential bad debts for necessary action.
  9. Interdepartmental Communication: Collaborate with Sales Admin, Sales, PFLS, etc.
