As we continue our global growth, we're seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our finance team in Umhlanga, Durban.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Credit Controller with a strong background in managing the credit control function, particularly in environments with multiple entities or subsidiaries. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our accounts are kept in excellent standing, working in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the credit control process across multiple entities, ensuring timely collection of payments
• Liaising with clients and internal departments to resolve outstanding payments and discrepancies
• Monitoring debtor balances and preparing reports for senior management
• Ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and company policies
• Processing invoices, credit notes, and maintaining accurate records
• Identifying and implementing improvements to the credit control process
• Handling complex accounts and multi-currency transactions

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a credit control role, ideally managing finances across multiple entities or subsidiaries
• Experience working with UK-based companies and knowledge of UK accounting standards is advantageous
• Experience dealing with foreign currencies is advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
