Job summary

Hilti South Africa is seeking a Credit & Collection Manager to lead a finance team, balance customer credit needs against exposure, and develop a Finance Value Proposition with potential to advance to CFO/FD roles.

You will drive credit and collections policies, manage risk, train the organization on credit decisions, and collaborate with Finance Business Partners and Sales to deliver value while strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Master’s degree in Finance or related field preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in a Credit & Collection role or related finance role.

Responsibilities

• Translate company strategy into departmental targets and drive ambitious results.
• Lead credit approvals, policy implementation, and risk monitoring.
• Manage cash collection, credit applications and payment allocations within defined guidelines.
• Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and Sales to mitigate local risks and identify opportunities.
• Support IT in improving Credit & Collection processes and systems.
