Position summary:

As Creative Production Manager in the Retail Media team, you will be expected to lead the end-to-end creative production process for all Alternative Revenue retail media related campaigns. The role is also responsible for translating strategic retail media briefs into engaging, high-quality creative assets across both digital and in-store formats while overseeing the entire creative lifecycle, managing internal & external creative resources as well as ensuring brand alignment, operational efficiency, and creative excellence that delivers tangible results for customers, clients, and the Massmart business.

About the team:

The Retail Media Team is made up of Strategy, Sales, Operations, Design, and Client Success. Our mission is to help brands and sellers meaningfully connect with customers on their shopping journey – wherever that occurs, by enabling discovery of the right products at the right time to save money and live better.

Retail Media sits within the broader Alternative Revenue business.

What you'll do:

  • Creative Production Strategy and Oversight: Lead the execution of all creative assets required for paid retail media campaigns, aligned to advertiser briefs
  • Creative Workflow and Project Management: Establish, maintain, and manage a campaign-centric creative production calendar across digital and physical channels.
  • Quality Control, Compliance, and Governance: Implement robust QA protocols to ensure all creative assets are compliant with internal guidelines, client brand standards, and advertising regulations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Account Management, Retail Media Strategy, and Sales teams to ensure creative alignment with commercial and advertiser goals.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in media production/ design/ advertising/ marketing related qualifications.
  • 6+ years of experience in creative production/ studio operations/ traffic management related role.
  • Exposure to retail media, shopper marketing, advertising technology, or in-house agency models.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating creative outputs across digital, print, in-store, and mobile formats.
  • Experience working with advertisers and cross-functional delivery teams in high-volume, campaign-based environments.
